Julio Cesar urges Inter to retain services of Wesley Sneijder & Samuel Eto'o

Inter shot-stopper Julio Cesar is adamant that the Serie A outfit must do everything in their power to keep Wesley Sneijder and Samuel Eto'o at the club.

The Dutch midfielder has been linked with a move away from the San Siro all summer, with the 27-year-old admitting that he has held ''unofficial talks'' with Manchester United.

Samuel Eto'o is now the latest player to be linked with a move, with big-spending Russian club Anzhi Mackhachkala reported to have agreed a deal to sign the Cameroon international.

However, the 31-year-old custodian is desperate for the pair to stay, telling La Gazzetta dello Sport: ''I hope that [Wesley] Sneijder and [Samuel] Eto'o remain at the club. These are the two that are making the difference. If you [the club] want to win again, you will not sell those two.''

The Brazil shot-stopper then went on to speak about his club's new coach, Gian Piero Gasperini, whom he conceded to knowing little about before he took over in the dugout at the world champions.

''Losing [the Supercoppa Italiana, 2-1 to AC Milan] in Beijing was sad but Gasperini explained what went wrong after the game. I know very little about him and he can say the same thing for me. But I remember the compliments that [Jose] Mourinho paid him when Gasperini was at Genoa.''

Julio Cesar featured for Brazil on Wednesday night as they lost out to Germany 3-2 in a friendly match.
