Inter president Massimo Moratti still pondering Anzhi’s offer for Samuel Eto’o

The Italian supremo revealed no deal has been struck for his forward, but comprehensive talks have been fired up and are progressing
Inter president Massimo Moratti has stated that the club are still assessing Anzhi Makhachkala's mega offer for Samuel Eto'o.

Goal.com revealed on Tuesday how talks between the clubs were underway - events that were later confirmed by Inter's Marco Branca and Eto'o's agent Claudio Vigorelli.

Some reports on Wednesday spoke of a done deal, but Moratti denied the claims.

"The deal has not been concluded. A proposal has been made and that's it," Moratti told La Repubblica.

"Now we will see what needs to be done [to take the move further]."

Goal.com understands Eto'o, 30, has been offered a four-year deal worth up to €20 million per annum.

The Russian outfit are offering Inter a €35m transfer fee.
