Inter's Gian Piero Gasperini: Wesley Sneijder will play against AC Milan in the SuperCoppa Italiana

The Italian tactician is unfazed by all the speculation surrounding the Dutchman, and stated that he will feature against the Serie A champions in Beijing
Inter coach Gian Piero Gasperini has stated that Wesley Sneijder is still a member of the squad and will feature against city rivals AC Milan in the SuperCoppa Italiana at the Bird's Nest in Beijing on Saturday.

The Netherlands international has been continuously linked with a summer transfer to Manchester United after spending the last two years of his career in Italy.

Sneijder did little to calm speculation over his future by refusing to rule out a move to the Premier League outfit just two days ago.

Gasperini spoke to reporters about the upcoming clash and believes that Sneijder is content to remain at the San Siro outfit.

"He is playing for us, training with us and he will play on Saturday. There is no Sneijder problem."

The Inter coach refused to predict the outcome of the upcoming clash and hopes his team will fare better in China than in 2009, when they lost the Super Cup to Lazio.

"I do not have a crystal ball, but we are here to try and win this so that Inter can take home the trophy they missed out on two years ago. And playing against AC Milan makes the event even more prestigious," Gasperini noted.
