Valencia sign Braga goalkeeper Cristiano Pereira - report

The Portuguese youngster is looking to further his career abroad after failing to make the cut at the Europa League losing finalists
Valencia are close to completing the free transfer of Sporting Braga custodian Cristiano Pereira, according to news daily AS.

The Spanish giants have been looking for a third-choice keeper following the departures of Miguel Angel Moya and Cesar earlier in the summer.

Pereira, an Under-21 international for Portugal, has failed to break into Braga's first team and spent the last season on loan at Vizela.

The 20-year-old custodian, who joins Valencia on a free transfer, will be the third keeper in the club's pecking order, behind Diego Alves and Vicente Guaita, though it is believed he will play for the side's B squad.
