Galatasaray interested in Inter's Diego Milito - report

Turkish club keen on landing San Siro forward as they look to open dialogue over a move after friendly match on Sunday night
Galatasaray have enquired as to the availability of Inter striker Diego Milito, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 32-year-old has been tipped to leave the Milanese club this summer following a mixed campaign last season in which he suffered various injuries.

Galatasaray coach Fatih Terim is eager to bolster his squad further following the arrivals of Fernando Muslera, Felipe Melo, Tomas Ujfalusi and Johan Elmander, and Milito, along with team-mate Esteban Cambiasso, is on his list of targets.

The Argentine is tied to Inter until 2014, and it is said recently-appointed coach Gian Piero Gasperini is not keen on letting him go, after working with the forward at Genoa where they enjoyed a successful spell.

However, Terim has already sent an early message of his intentions.

"Milito and Cambiasso are two great players. I like them and I would like to coach them," he said to Il Corriere dello Sport.

Inter take on the Turkish side in a friendly match on Sunday.
