Alexis Sanchez's agent, Fernando Felicevich, has flown to Barcelona to resume talks between Udinese and the La Liga champions and put the finishing touches on the player's move to the Catalan club.
Earlier on Wednesday, Gino Pozzo, the son of Udinese owner, Giampaolo Pozzo, revealed that the agreement between the two clubs 'was total'.
Felicevich has travelled to the Catalonia capital to continue negotiations for his client, and it is believed a deal could be closed in the near future.
"I cannot say anything, but there is not much left [to do]," he told Ona FM upon landing in Barcelona.
The Chile international has been linked with a move to Barcelona all summer long, with Manchester City also mooted as a possibility earlier in the transfer window.
However, Sanchez clearly expressed his preference to move to the Camp Nou, and the Champions League holders will now reportedly pay a €27 million transfer fee, with an extra €16m based on other variables.
