Sevilla winger Diego Capel, is poised to join Sporting Lisbon, the player's uncle has confirmed.
The Spain international has been strongly linked with a switch to the Estadio de Alvalade after a source close to the player revealed on Sunday that Sporting had launched talks with a view to signing him.
Capel is now set to reinforce one of Sporting's weakest departments after the two clubs reportedly agreed on a €6 million switch.
"It all happened so fast. He will travel tomorrow [Tuesday] to Portugal and will be presented in Lisbon on Wednesday. He will sign for five years," Capel's uncle Carioca Capel told Maisfutebol.
The 23-year-old, who broke through Sevilla's youth ranks in 2004, had a disappointing last season at the club and was pushed down the pecking order as a result.
He is set to become the 12th summer signing made by the Portuguese club, who finished third in the league last season.
