Chile legend and former Real Madrid striker Ivan Zamorano believes Barcelona are the perfect club for Udinese forward Alexis Sanchez.
The Catalan giants are reportedly hopeful of sealing a €40 million deal with the Italians for the 22-year-old, who is currently at the Copa America with the Chilean national team.
Negotiations have been long and wrangled, but look set to be concluded after Barcelona president Sandro Rosell reportedly flew out to South America to reach an agreement with the player.
And Zamorano, who played for Madrid between 1992 and 1996, feels his compatriot is perfectly suited to his former side's biggest rivals.
"Barcelona are a club made to measure for Sanchez. They play the best football in the world and he will find it easy to adapt there," the 44-year-old told Cope.
"He is fast and he is unbeatable one on one. Sanchez has been successful and at 22 he can do well in any team."
Chile take on Mexico on Tuesday in their first Group C Copa America game.
