Atletico Madrid defender Tomas Ujfalusi is on the verge of joining Galatasaray and is expected to sign a contract on Monday, the club have confirmed.
The Czech stopper will undergo a medical before putting pen to paper on a deal with the Istanbul outfit.
The Turkish giants confirmed negotiations have been ongoing on their official website, stating: "Today, Tomas Ujfalusi and Galatasaray initiated talks over a transfer. The public will be notified of any developments."
Ujfalusi, who joined Atletico from Fiorentina on a free transfer in 2008, could be joined by team-mates Diego Forlan and Jose Antonio Reyes.
Reports emerging from Turkey state that Reyes is likely to move to Istanbul, with a deal already being agreed, although Galatasaray have yet to agree a fee for Forlan.
Fatih Terim's side are keen to add new blood to their ranks as they look to compete for the league title next season and have already added Johan Elmander from Bolton Wanderers.
