Manchester City have offered Udinese winger Alexis Sanchez an alternative to Barcelona after putting together a bid worth €30 million, according to Sky Sport 24.
The Chilean ace has been strongly linked with moving to Barcelona in the summer, with the player stating that the Spanish and European champions would be a "splendid" place for him to further his career.
However, talks between the Italian and Spanish clubs are believed to have reached a stalemate as Udinese are planning to honour their valuation of Sanchez, which Goal.com exclusively revealed in May to be worth €30m.
And City, who have been credited with an interest in Sanchez already, will move in quickly to secure the player with a €30m proposal, hoping to beat the Champions League winners to the punch.
Reports in Italy suggest that the Citizens will meet with Udinese tomorrow in what could prove to be a decisive day for the 22-year-old's future.
