Colombia Under-20 international Santiago Arias has confirmed that he has agreed to sign a five-year deal with Sporting Lisbon.
The 19-year-old has been instrumental in Colombia's impressive performance at the Toulon tournament, and is expected to start for them in the final against France on Friday.
Arias had been linked with a move to Sporting in recent days and confirmed on Thursday evening that he agreed on a move to the Portuguese capital club even before flying to France.
"It will be a five-year contract and it was agreed before I came to Toulon," Arias told Radio Renascenca. "We have come up with something very good. I am very happy."
The figure involved in the deal has not yet been confirmed, but reports in Portugal suggest Arias could leave Equidad for nothing because of overdue wages.
The Colombian right-back is now close to becoming Sporting's fourth signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Peruvian duo Alberto Rodriguez and Andre Carrillo and Dutch striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel at the Jose Alvalade.
