AC Milan’s Adriano Galliani: Santos' Ganso could be too expensive for us

AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has revealed that they are “interested” in signing playmaker Ganso from Santos in the summer, but admits the club may be put off by his price-tag.

The 21-year-old Brazil international is one of the hottest properties in the transfer market and has been linked with a move to Italy, with Milan and Inter both reportedly keen on his services.

Ganso himself has said that he sees his future in Italy and now Galliani has declared that they want him in the first team from the 2011-12 campaign onward.

“Ganso is an excellent player and we are interested in him,” Galliani told Mediaset Premium. “The only problem is he’s a bit expensive.

“Santos also have another player I like very much, Danilo. I don’t know if Udinese already have a deal for him, but I do like the player.”

When asked about signing Porto striker Hulk by reporters, Galliani replied: “I like him very much. But this means nothing, I like one [player] of Barcelona too.”

However, Santos deny that they have received any offer from Milan or any other club for the Brazilian playmaker.
