Colombian defender Nelson Rivas has joined Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk from Inter on loan for the rest of the season, with the Ukrainian side retaining the option to sign him on a permanent contract thereafter, it was announced on Monday.
The Italian and European champions made the announcement in a statement published on their official website and outlined, "F.C. Internazionale announces that Colombian defender Nelson Rivas has joined FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk on loan, with the Ukrainian side having an option to purchase.
"We wish Nelson the best of luck for the next stage of his career in Ukraine."
The 27-year-old joined Inter in 2007 but has failed to play regularly for the first-team, having already served a loan stint with Italian club Livono in 2009-10.
