Juventus Reconsider Move For Schalke Striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar - Report

Juventus' move for Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano is proving far from easy, and so they have turned their attention back on Schalke 04 hitman Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

Sporting director Giuseppe Marotta has confirmed the aim is to refresh his attacking options, but some moves have gone stale.

Il Corriere dello Sport claims Sevilla are in no mood to loan Fabiano, 30. The Spanish club want €9 million cash for the transfer - considered a high price in Turin.

Huntelaar, who has been linked with a Serie A return, appeals. The unit of negotiation centres on Mohamed Sissoko. He is liked in Germany and could be used to tip the scales in Juve's favour.

Marotta is said to be willing to offer cash and Sissoko in return for the former Milan striker.

Adrian Mutu of Fiorentina is also on the horizon, but the Tuscan side's Della Valle family owners have already made it clear they won't sell him to another Italian club.
