Roma will only be sold for good capital as negotiations to find a buyer continue, claims UniCredit CEO Federico Ghizzoni.
The Lupi have been up for sale since the summer, when UniCredit took over as part of a debt settlement plan with the club's Sensi family owners, who fronted Roma under their holding company Italpetroli.
Negotiations have rumbled on, and while Ghizzoni did not name potential buyers, he suggested Roma will not be undersold.
"The price is important, but so is the future of the squad," he told the press.
"We are evaluating the price and it's relationship with the quality of investment.
"Names? The advisors are at work and there is a shortlist."
