Arsenal Youngster Ryo Miyaichi Set To Join Feyenoord On Loan - Report

Newly signed Arsenal youngster Ryo Miyaichi is set to join Feyenoord on loan until the end of the season, with the two clubs looking towards a strategic partnership for the future, according to The Mirror.

The Japanese starlet, who has been compared to both Cristiano Ronaldo and Thierry Henry, arrived at the Emirates earlier this month after impressing during a trial last summer and Arsene Wenger is now thought to be keen on sending the 18-year-old to the Netherlands in order to build his experience of top-level football.

The Gunners are keen to send more of their young players to the Dutch club to gain first-team football, which may aid work permit applications further down the line.

Miyaichi, who has represented Japan at Under-17 level, is not the only Arsenal youngster to be temporarily leaving the club, with Brazilian Wellington joining Spanish side Levante until the rest of the season last week, having seen his initial work permit application turned down.
