Everton forward Yakubu has joined Leicester City after many days of speculation and uncertainty about the player's future.
The loan deal will see the former Portsmouth man spend the rest of the season at the Walkers Stadium with a possible permanent deal in the pipeline.
Yakubu has made just eight starts this season for the Toffees with just one goal against Stoke in October.
He told Leicester's official website: "It means a lot to me to be joining Leicester City and to be given this chance.
"When I had the option to come here, I didn't think twice. The manager is one of the greats in football history and to work with him presents a special opportunity for me."
The Nigerian has never bettered his first season at Goodison Park, where he scored 21 goals in his inaugral campaign in 2007. He could make his debut for his new team this weekend against Preston.
