Francesco Totti Skips Roma Training; David Pizarro Returns To Trigoria

David Pizarro has come back from Chile to continue his recovery with Roma, but Francesco Totti was not on the training pitch...
Roma midfielder David Pizarro has returned to Trigoria as expected after continuing therapy in Chile over the winter break.

Il Corriere dello Sport
reports the Chilean arrived in the Italian capital on Thursday morning after leaving Chile last night.

He is expected to meet Roma's medical staff and fill them in with updates as to how his recovery from injury progressed while in Chile.

Pizarro will then meet Claudio Ranieri later, but it is unknown as to whether the club will fine him for his delayed return.

He was linked with a transfer, but those rumours were played down by Ranieri, who last week said Pizarro was part of his plans.

Meanwhile, Totti failed to train following his muscular problem on Wednesday. Juan is also absent, as is Philippe Mexes. Neither are likely to feature against Cesena.
