Milan are looking to follow through on interest in Domenico Criscito after approaching Genoa with an offer.
Sportmediaset.it claims Adriano Galliani opened dialogue with Grifoni president Enrico Preziosi whilst in Brazil dealing with Ronaldinho's Flamengo move.
Initial talk centred around the future of Kevin-Prince Boateng. His impact has been great at San Siro, and it seems Milan want to keep him beyond a loan deal.
But Galliani was keen to stress ambition for Criscito as Milan look to bolster their defence. He wants a loan deal for the 24-year-old Italian with the option to make it permanent in June.
Genoa may consider the deal as they have recently signed Luca Antonelli from Parma for Crisicito's left-back position.
