Mark van Bommel's agent Mino Raiola has not closed the door on Milan as he reacts to reports the Italians are ready to fire up talks for the Bayern Munich midfielder.
Il Corriere dello Sport claimed Milan are ready to stage talks with Raiola to open dialogue over a free deal as the 33-year-old's contract is close to expiry.
And Raiola seems keen on taking the Milan idea forward.
"I am happy to hear these voices because he is an important player who can still give so much for any club," Raiola told Sky Sport Italia.
"If Milan are interested then I don't know as I have not heard from them.
"Will I meet [Adriano] Galliani? This is my business, not yours..."
Raiola was asked whether Mario Balotelli was fearing competition at Manchester City following the arrival of Edin Dzeko from Wolfsburg.
"Balotelli worried about Dzeko? The more strikers, the better for Mario. There's no fear from Balotelli whether it's Dzeko or Lionel Messi or others who arrive," said the agent.
