Juventus, Inter & Milan All Want Tottenham Star Gareth Bale - Agent

Milan, Inter, and Juve are working on move for Tottenham's Gareth Bale, but progress is likely in the summer...
Update 23:40 CET: An earlier version of this article described Peppino Tirri as Gareth Bale's agent. Since publication Tirri has moved to clarify his position, saying, "I did not speak in the capacity of being Bale's agent. It has been some time since I ceased to collaborate with the agency that deals with him."

Update 17:34 CET
: In addition to Juventus, Serie A giants Inter and Milan are also interested in Tottenham sensation Gareth Bale, according to Peppino Tirri.

"I confirm the interest of Juventus, but certainly we're talking about June and not January," Peppino Tirri revealed to ilsussidiario.net.

"[Inter and Milan] have also shown an interest in the Welshman, because the player would like to play in Italy in the near future. The chances [of a move happening] are high, but then again in June and not January. No Italian team is likely to buy him in the current transfer window."

Reports indicate the speedy left-sided midfielder would cost at least €20 million, a fee that Tirri believes only Real Madrid could afford in January.

"Real would be the only ones who could acquire Bale in January, also because the people of Madrid are really pushing for it. [Coach Jose] Mourinho has his eye on him and they could well try to get him. Otherwise everything will happen in June," he concluded.

Another giant tracking the in-form player, who has seven goals in 20 Premier League appearances this season, are Manchester United and they could also throw their hat into the ring for the talented youngster.

12:00 CET:
Juventus have identified Tottenham's majestic winger Gareth Bale as the man to cater for their left-flank needs, and the Italians have allocated a bale of cash for a summer blitz.

Eyes were initially fixed on Lyon's Michel Bastos, but he reportedly rejected the chance to join Juventus in January, leaving the club with few options.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claims the focus has turned on Bale, who has terrorised defences all season. Bianconeri boss Luigi Del Neri has class on the right with Milos Krasic, and he sees the 21-year-old Welshman as a perfect addition for the left side.

However, the battle of ideas will be less easily won as Manchester United have been linked with Bale.

Bianconeri general director Giuseppe Marotta though is hoping to counter any competition. He will look to curb spending in January to ensure a hoard of money is ready for a summer move, with a move for Edin Dzeko likely to bring about a host of departures in order to keep money on the table.
