Werder Bremen striker Hugo Almeida has admitted that he could be tempted to join Italian side Lazio.
The 26-year-old's contract with the German outfit expires in the summer and the Portugal international forward has been linked with a number of clubs.
However, Almeida has remained coy about his future and has ruled out a January move, but has stated that he could join Lazio at the end of the season.
“I am concentrating on my job with Werder," he said, according to Il Corriere dello Sport. “I don't know what will happen. I don't know what my future will be. I will talk about it soon with my agent.”
When asked about Lazio, Almeida stated, “I haven't heard anything since the summer.”
However, when asked whether he could join the Aquile if an offer arrived, the Portuguese said, “Yes of course. Lazio are a good team and this year they are doing very well.”
