Emmanuel Adebayor looks set to leave Manchester City – with both Milan clubs interested in luring the Togolese forward to Italy in January, according to The People.
Adebayor has fallen down the pecking order at City with coach Roberto Mancini preferring to play Carlos Tevez as a lone striker upfront.
Adebayor, a £25 million purchase from Arsenal in July last year, was said to be disappointed following Mario Balotelli’s move to Eastlands from Inter Milan.
But it seems Adebayor’s time on the bench at the City of Manchester Stadium is set to end.
Friends of the former Arsenal forward say his patience has run out and he wants to leave the club after he was dropped from the first-team by Mancini.
And it is understood that Mancini does not get on with Adebayor and would not stand in his way should an acceptable offer for him be received by the club.
It is also understood that the striker has been involved in a dispute with the landlord of the property he has rented since leaving London for Manchester.
