Spartak Moscow have confirmed that Stipe Pletikosa has joined Tottenham Hotspur on a season-long loan deal.
The Croatia international was thought to have been on the verge of making a move to the north London club last January, but failed a medical at the time.
However, the 31-year-old was previously reported to have been on trial with the club for a significant portion of the summer, and has now completed a move to Spurs.
Tottenham have also been given the opportunity to buy the 'keeper at the end of the loan period, should they deem him worthy of a permanent contract.
Pletikosa could make his debut against West Bromwich Albion over the weekend, as current first-choice Heurelho Gomes is carrying a groin injury.
