Diego has left Juventus to join Wolfsburg on a permanent deal, the clubs officially confirmed on Friday.
The Brazilian has signed a four-year deal with Wolfsburg as he returns to the Bundesliga just a year after leaving Werder Bremen to play in Serie A.
A statement on Juventus' official website reads:
"Juventus communicates to have perfected an agreement with VfL Wolfsburg GmbH for the permanent transfer of Da Cunha Diego for an income of €15.5m fully payable once the player signs his contract."
Juve's announcement was preceeded by the German club, who in the early hours of the morning confirmed that they had signed the player.
A statement on Wolfsburg's official website reads:
"Contract until 2014: Diego transfer is perfect
"The transfer of the Brazilian Diego Ribas da Cunha to VfL Wolfsburg, is perfect. "Diego, signed" late on Thursday a four-year contract to 30 June 2014. The midfielder returns from Juventus to the Bundesliga, where he played from 2006 2009 with Werder Bremen."
