Inter defender Nicolas Burdisso has rejected the chance to join Juventus because his heart is set on forcing a move through with Roma.
Agent Fernando Hidalgo has backtracked on earlier claims in which he said Juventus was a possibility because Inter were reluctant to sell to Roma.
"Nicolas is proud of all the interest. He would like to thank Juventus, but his intention is to play for Roma," the agent said.
"Roma are ready to match what Juventus had offered Inter. We hope they [Inter] can take note of the player's will, to play for Roma."
And Daniele Prade confirmed he was in talks with Inter for the stopper.
"We are negotiating," Prade told Vocegiallorossa.it shortly after Hidalgo spoke to Sky Sport Italia.
