Arsenal Target Mark Schwarzer On Verge Of Completing Move From Fulham To The Emirates - Report

According to The News of the World, the Australian keeper is set to bring an end to his two-year stint at Craven Cottage and a deal will be thrashed out next week.

Schwarzer, 37, will reportedly sign a two-year-deal to join the Gunners, with the fee yet to be agreed.

It is speculated that the former Middlesbrough man will move for around £3 million, and will take the No.1 jersey ahead of Manuel Almunia who has come under fierce criticism following an inconsistent time at the club.

Schwarzer was ruled out of Fulham's opening game of the season at Bolton with a back injury, which means if his protracted move goes through his last game as a Fulham player will have been the Europa Cup final defeat to Atletico Madrid.
