Barcelona Arranging Zlatan Ibrahimovic Swap Deal For Manchester City's Robinho - Report

Barcelona could be prepared to offer Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic as part of a deal to take Manchester City's Robinho to Camp Nou.

The unsettled Brazilian forward clearly does not want to stick around at Eastlands for much longer after enjoying a loan spell at Santos at the end of last season and is now desperate to make a move. Robinho has been linked with clubs in Europe also but so far nothing has been said or materialised.

Barcelona president Sandro Rosell could be about to offer Robinho a way out, according to Sport. The Spanish media source has suggested that Barcelona are not relying on the big Swede's services next season and are looking to recuperate some of the huge fee, approximately €60 million, paid out to secure his services. Understanding that no club wants to come close to that price, the Blaugrana will try initiate an exchange deal.

Ibrahimovic recently declared that a move to the Premier League would be something that would interest him, while Robinho might be tempted to return Spain and this time prove himself in the Champions League.
