Genoa's Giuseppe Sculli Linked With Inter - Report

Genoa hitman could be Rafa's first signing...
Giuseppe Sculli could be Rafael Benitez's first addition to his Inter squad despite a whole host of other players have been linked to the European champions, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

With Inter being tied up with the sales of Maicon and Mario Balotelli there have been limited dealings to bring players in. With the season drawing closer they will have to move fast and Genoa forward Sculli could fit the bill. The experienced forward has been likened to the style of former favourite of coach Benitez, Dirk Kuyt, and of course is Italian.

Current Inter forward Diego Milito, who had an unstoppable season last year, also came from Genoa, and Inter are believed to have a good business relationship with Il Grifone.

Sculli is 29 years old and may not be thought of as a perfect replacement for the departing Balotelli, with both his age and his style quite different, but could provide a more simple, time-efficient solution of someone already proven in Italy, after turning in some stunning performances last season.
