Brann’s Erik Huseklepp Being Followed By ‘Several’ Bundesliga Clubs - Agent

There are options for the attacker, who is being followed in England and France too...
Erik Huseklepp of Norwegian outfit Brann is being courted by a number of top Bundesliga outfits, the player’s representative has told the press.

The 25-year-old attacker, who has won numerous caps for Norway, has featured mainly in attack for his current employers this season and has hit form just as the transfer market gets into full swing. Huseklepp registered as Brann tied with Stabaek a fortnight ago and then scored again as Sandefjord were downed 4-1 last weekend, getting two assists in the process.

“I will not deny that Erik might apply to the Bundesliga. Several German clubs are following him and have seen Erik over a long time,” agent Stig Lillejord told Bergens Tidende.

Stuttgart are reported to be the outfit most interested, but the agent remained tight-lipped. “I will not comment,” he declared stubbornly.

“If it happens, it will only be in the last 14 days of the transfer window in August. There are clubs in Europe waiting.

“Erik is being followed in France and England as well.”

Championship side Nottingham Forest were linked with a move for the forward, who is said to have turned down the swicth as he wants to play at the top level.
