After Goal.com reported interest from Juventus and Fiorentina in Bari midfielder Emanuel Rivas, the Argentine has expressed satisfaction that his performances have struck a chord with the big clubs in Italy.
Rivas told Calciomercato, "I have heard of the interest of these two clubs," and despite being adamant that this will not distract his commitment to Bari, who finished 11th in Serie A, the 27-year-old concluded, "I am very happy that these teams are interested in me".
Rivas claims that Bari have succeeded in helping him find happiness through football but will not rule out a move if it lets him develop as a player.
With Bari showing interest in Juventus playmaker Sebastian Giovinco, it is possible the Old Lady may attempt a co-ownership or swap deal for the players, potentially leaving Fiorentina helpless in their attempts to pursue Rivas.
