Kaka's Brother Digao Leaves Milan For Penafiel - Report

Brazilian switches to Portugal to ply his trade...
Brazilian star Kaka's younger brother, Digao, has ended his unsettled spell with Milan in Italy to switch to Portuguese second division outfit Penafiel, according to calciomercato. The 24-year-old centre back moved to Italy from Sao Paulo in 2004 when he joined Sampdoria, spending a year on loan to Milan before making his move permanent.

His career after that has been anything but permanent, having spells at Rimini, Standard Liege, Lecce and finally at Crotone last season. He made only one appearance for Standard Liege and two for Milan in the 2007-08 season. The first was a loss to Catania in the Coppa Italia and the second a draw with Lazio.

He hasn't quite had the sparkling career as his older brother, or even cousin Eduardo Delani, who plays in China.

However, one imprint he did make on football was his naming of his brother as "Kaka" due to him not being able to pronounce Ricardo.
