As reported by the Villarreal club website, West Bromwich Albion player Borja Valero, who spent last season on loan at Mallorca, has arrived upon an agreement with Villarreal to spend the next five seasons with the Yellow Submarine.
After the official signing of the contract and subsequent medical exam, the club will make the signing official and present the Real Madrid youth product as a Villarreal player.
At 25 years old, Borja is well known for his ability to dribble with the ball and his potent shot, abilities that saw him named as the best Spanish footballer of the season by the magazine Don Balon. Valero was brought up in the Real Madrid youth system before spending two seasons at Mallorca, one as a full signing and the second on loan from English side West Bromwich Albion.
