Juventus Offer Fiorentina €20 Million & Sebastian Giovinco For Juan Manuel Vargas - Report

Juventus have offered Fiorentina €20 million and the full ownership of Sebastian Giovinco for Real Madrid target Juan Manuel Vargas.

La Nazione reports the Bianconeri made their pitch to Viola sporting director Pantaleo Corvino, who is happy with the cash offer, but not with the arrival of Giovinco.

He is eager to land Claudio Marchisio, who enjoyed a successful season despite the Old Lady's troubles last term and played at the World Cup.

However, Juventus seem reluctant to lose a player considered first team material by coach Luigi Del Neri.

Giovinco on the other hand was peripheral to requirements last term and he is looking for new beginnings elsewhere.

Giovinco wants regular action
But Vargas himself told Peruvian press on Monday that he wants to remain with Fiorentina.

“My club is Fiorentina and I will stay here with the hope of winning something,” he said to his compatriots.

Vargas joined the Viola from Catania in 2008 for a reported €12m fee.
