Luis Fabiano's agent Jose Fuentes has made it clear his client will only leave Sevilla for Milan, who, according to the Spanish club, have not tabled any offer.
"Either Fabiano joins Milan straight away, or he will stay at Sevilla for another year..." Fuentes jold Il Corriere dello Sport.
Sevilla have been working on a renewal for the Brazilian, whose contract expires in 2011, but he seems reluctant to sign a new deal there, holding out hope for Milan to make the first step towards signing him.
It means Sevilla could lose him on a free transfer next year. Fabiano's reluctance to sign new terms, and the risk of a Bosman has put pressure on the club to find a buyer.
Milan are favourites to land him this summer after Adriano Galliani said he "hopes" to have the striker at his club for the new season.
But the Italians have not made any move, according to Sevilla's director general Ramon Rodriguez Verdejo Monchi, who told Tuttomercatoweb.com: "We have not had any contact with Milan for now.
"His agent is pushing him to Milan? I don't know. I can only say that until now Milan have not come forward to speak with us.
"We will meet the player after the World Cup. Will he stay at Sevilla? I don't know."
