Schalke striker Kevin Kuranyi has stated that he will join Dyanmo Moscow next season, according to a report.
The former German international, who has just enjoyed his finest club season to date, reportedly told Welt Online that he has opted to move to the Russian league despite offers from elsewhere.
Manchester City, Besiktas, Fenerbahce and a host of Serie A clubs were said to be interested in the forward, whose contract ends on June 30th of this year.
While the former Stuttgart man was one of Schalke's top performers this season, coach Felix Magath all but confirmed Kevin's departure by telling the press that he had declined to issue a new contract offer to the striker.
Neither Schalke nor Dynamo Moscow have yet confirmed the transfer.
Schalke will play Champions League football next season after finishing 2nd in the Bundesliga. Dynamo are currently struggling in the Russian league, sitting mid-table.
Kuranyi, however, will be expected to dig them out of their current predicament as he will not be traveling with Joachim Loew's Germany squad to the World Cup.
