Inter Want Leonardo Bonucci Return If Andrea Ranocchia Bid Is Unsuccessful - Report

The Nerazzurri are considering a move for the other Bari centre-back as well...
Inter have recently been linked with on-loan Bari defender Andrea Ranocchia in the news, but are also on the trail of his team-mate Leonardo Bonucci, according to tuttomercatoweb.

Bonucci was part of the Nerazzurri youth team before joining the Grifoni in a deal that sent Diego Milito and Thiago Motta to the Giuseppe Meazza, and he has excelled with Bari in 2009-10 and recently made an impressive debut with the Italian national team.

The player is co-owned by Bari and Genoa, so his future must be decided at the end of the season before any transfer to the current Serie A champions could take place.

However, earlier today Grifoni president Enrico Preziosi stated that Massimo Moratti's club were leading the race to sign Ranocchia, suggesting that Bonucci would be their second choice.
