Lazio are looking at ways to bring back Eyal Golasa after he decided to return to Maccabi Haifa despite having signed a four-and-a-half year deal with the Italian side.
According to Goal.com Italia, Claudio Lotito was left stunned when Golasa flew back to Israel to rejoin Maccabi, who announced on their official website that the young sensation was back with them for the long term.
However, Golasa has a valid contract with Lazio that was rubber stamped by the Lega Calcio and as such, he is registered in Italy as an Aquile player.
Reports claimed that Lazio signed the youngster without Maccabi knowing of the transfer, but there were suggestions that Golasa's previous contract with them was not legally binding, and thus he was free to leave.
Lotito is now expected to pursue legal avenues to ensure the player returns.
