Inter are ready to mould their deal for Lazio's Cristian Ledesma into shape, whilst the Roman club gather plans together for Villarreal midfielder Sebastian Eguren.
According to Sportmediaset.it, the Aquile are on the verge of accepting a bid of €10 million in cash, plus the co-ownership of a number of players, in return for Ledesma and Aleksandar Kolarov.
The report suggests president Claudio Lotito has welcomed that idea, and he could give the Nerazzurri a positive response by the end of the day.
With Ledesma set to complete his switch to Inter, space has opened up for Lazio to make further manouevres on the transfer market and bring in Eguren.
Biancocelesti sporting director Igli Tare has discussed the move with Lotito, according to Il Corriere Dello Sport.
A €3.5m bid is likely to sway Villarreal, but both clubs have yet to reach an agreement on the terms of an eventual deal.
