Inter Bulldoze Reports Linking Them With Palermo Midfielder Fabio Simplicio

Inter will not be landing the Brazilian...
Inter have moved quickly to quash speculation that they were planning a move for Palermo midfielder Fabio Simplicio.

Club chief executive Ernesto Paolillo has described reports claiming an interest in the Brazilian as a "hoax".

Tuttomercatoweb.com reported that Inter were in line to swoop after missing out on Julio Baptista of Roma. But Paolillo has offered his response.

"Every now and then we are linked with someone, but there is nothing true about this," he told Palermo24.it

"Simplicio is a player that can be liked, but it doesn't mean he is needed by Inter. This news is a hoax."

Simplicio has also been linked with Roma as his deal with Palermo expires in the summer. His agent Gilmar Rinaldi is expected in Milan later, where is will reportedly meet Rosanero directors to help his client make the switch to the capital.
