According to Tunisie-Foot.com, Tunisian international midfielder Hamed Namouchi has signed a six month contract with an option for extension with SC Freiburg.
After leaving Lorient FC and being heavily linked to Turkey’s
Sivasspor, the player will now be plying his trade in the German Bundesliga.
Namouchi underwent a successful trial with the side last
month but negotiations took longer than expected given that some terms in the
contract were not acceptable to the player.
The former Rangers playmaker is the fourth Tunisian
player to play at Freiburg after Zoubaier Beya, Mehdi Ben Slimane and Adel
Sellimi. He will begin training with the team on December
28 and also take part in their camp from January 2 to January 9.
The news is set to please fans of the Cannes native who has
not played a competitive match since leaving Lorient when his contract expired last June.
