According to Tuttomercatoweb, Serie A side Napoli will launch an audacious bid to sign Udinese star midfielder Gaetano D’Agostino in January.
The 27-year-old reluctantly remained at the Stadio Friuli last summer after a reported move to Juventus collapsed at the 11th hour when the Old Lady refused to meet Udinese’s €17 million asking price.
Napoli are believed to be plotting a January move and could use playmaker Luca Cigarini as bait after the former Italy Under-21 star failed to make an impact at the San Paolo following his €11m summer transfer from Atalanta.
The Vesuviani have also been linked with Lazio outcast Cristian Ledesma in recent weeks after the Argentine’s agent was spotted at the club’s headquarters in Naples.
Ledesma has fallen out with the Biancocelesti and was frozen out of the squad by president Claudio Lotito at the start of the season after refusing the terms of a new deal.
