After weeks of negotiations, Marko Arnautovic is finally expected to complete his transfer from Dutch outfit Twente to Italian champions Inter by the end of the week, although the player’s representative is still cautious.
“It is possible that he will sign on the dotted line either today or tomorrow, but it all depends on the agreement between the clubs,” agent Robert Groener said to Calciomercato.it.
“Only details are missing at the moment, but sometimes that’s the most complicated issue. Before setting things in motion, I am awaiting an agreement between Inter and Twente that has yet to come.
“The player is serene, though. He is continuing his recovery process in Milan and his foot is getting better.”
The move had been put on hold after Inter persuaded Twente to re-negotiate the terms of the deal due to concerns over Arnautovic’s fitness after the striker sustained a stress fracture to his right foot.
