Inter midfielder Amantino Mancini has underlined his intention to silence his critics and prove his worth to the club.
The Brazilian winger has been constantly linked with a move away from the San Siro after a relatively poor campaign since joining from Roma last year.
He was used sparingly by coach Jose Mourinho, fuelling speculation he would be on his way out.
Reports in England claim West Ham United are keen on him, but Mancini is enthusiastic about staying, aiming to claim a place in the team and forge a bond with the club's jersey.
"I want to remain here as I want to get revenge for last year's negative period," Mancini told Sky Sport Italia.
"I hope to be a protagonist and I am fine here at Inter. I have no intention of changing shirt.
"Things will be different next season as I want to return to being the Mancini who played at Roma. I have faith and I am focussed on working hard."
