I Cannot Confirm Aliaksandr Hleb To Inter Rumours - Agent

The player's agent has revealed he has not been contacted by anyone amid reports his client was close to joining Inter...
Aliaksandr Hleb's agent, Uli Ferber, has given foggy views on reports linking his client with a move to Italian giants Inter.

Earlier reports emerging from Italy suggested the Nerazzurri had reached an agreement with Barcelona in order to take the Belarussian midfielder on a season-long loan.

The proposition also included an option to buy the player permanently next year. Neither Inter nor Barcelona have made a comment on those reports, and Ferber was less than certain on his player's future movements.

"Inter were interested last year, but at the moment I am not aware of any manouvre from the Italian side," the agent told Calciomercato.it.

"I cannot confirm rumours in the Italian press which have linked my client to Inter. As far as I know there has not been any contact for my client."

Hleb recently bemoaned his lack of playing time under Pep Guardiola. The midfielder joined Barcelona last year from Arsenal in a deal reportedly worth €13 million.
