Goran Pandev is likely to leave Lazio this summer, and at this stage all that remains to be known is his eventual destination, with the likes of Juventus, Palermo and Napoli all chasing the striker.
Despite this, the Macedonian has declared that he is
open to a move outside Italy, resulting in the latest interest shown by Zenit
St. Petersburg, a club that are close to signing the 25-year-old,
according to the latest reports.
Just a few hours ago, representatives from the two clubs met and the Russians made an offer of €13
million for the attacker. The Aquile, however,
requested that they increase that to €15m.
The latest reports from Mediaset go on to indicate that in
the last hour, Zenit have formulated a new official offer of around €14m for Pandev; however, at this point, it is unsure whether or not the player
himself would accept a move to the Russian Premier League.
