No Contact From Napoli Over Roma Midfielder Brighi - Agent

Matteo Brighi is not leaving Roma for Napoli as far as his agent Vanni Puzzolo is concerned, despite reports claiming the contrary.

A number of voices claimed the Italian midfielder was set to leave Trigoria and join the Partenopei. It is said Roberto Donadoni is a big admirer of the former Juventus man and he wants him at the San Paolo.

However, Brighi's agent insists he has not been contacted by any club.

"No-one has contacted me over Brighi. I saw [Napoli director] Pierpaolo Marino in Milan and he did not mention anything to me," Puzzolo told Tuttomercatoweb.com

"I have not spoken to Napoli or Roma about Brighi. We are staying quiet. Brighi's contract expires in 2012. There has been talk of a renewal, but it should have been about an adjustment."

Brighi joined Roma in 2004 from Parma. Recent speculation in the Italian press claimed that Inter were also after him.
