Report: Roma & Fiorentina In Aquilani - Kuzmanovic Swap Deal

There are strong reports that the Giallorossi and the Gigliati are mulling over a sensational summer trade.

According to rumours in today’s edition of Il Giornale della Toscana, Roma and Fiorentina discussed a potential swap deal involving midfielders Alberto Aquilani and Zdravko Kuzmanovic during their recent meeting at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

It is claimed that the Tuscans are prepared to bid up to €6 million plus the services of the Serbian star to land the talented Italian international.

Aquilani has barely featured this season due to a string of injury problems, mustering just 18 appearances in all competitions so far.

The 24-year-old is tied to the Eternal City club until June 2010 and has been embroiled in negotiations over a new deal since last summer, but an agreement seems far from being reached, despite reports to the contrary.

Kuzmanovic has been plying his trade in Florence since 2007 when he joined from Swiss club Basel.
