Hachim Mastour will have a great career at AC Milan, according to Nasser Larguet - the man who will help to guide his career with Morocco.
The attacking midfielder, 17, made his international debut for the African nation last week and in doing so became the youngest ever player to pull on the shirt.
Mastour opted to play for Morocco despite winning numerous caps at youth level with Italy.
The former Reggiana youngster is yet to make a first team appearance for Milan, but has been backed to do so in the near future and become a star.
Larguet, Morocco's director of selection, told tuttomercato: "Mastour is the player of the future. We are happy that he has made his Morocco debut and also established a new record.
"He is the youngest player to ever play for Morocco and I expect him to go on and have a great career with Milan as well."
He added: "The fact that he chose Morocco rather than Italy honours us, obviously he feels a true Moroccan. The federation is very happy with his choice."
