Leandro Castan is the latest player to sign for Roma after it was announced that the 25-year-old will join the Serie A club from Corinthians.
The incoming defender is expected to replace his recently-departed compatriot Juan, who rescinded his contract with the Giallorossi in favour of a move back to Brazil with Internacional.
"A.S. Roma announces it has signed a contract with the outright acquisition of rights of the player Leandro da Silva Castan, against the registration of a fee equivalent to €5 million," read a statement on an official club press release.
"The player has signed a four-year contract that will expire on June 30, 2016."
